View original postBeing called nutty by someone who has the tendency to take the right-wing/batshitcrazy side of issues really is a compliment. Not far off of how Yoda would respond to Palpatine calling the Jedi Master "nutty."

Typical Rebel and Jedi propaganda, is this the same Yoda who - without ever being elected by the people - ruled for centuries as the head of a cult which took in and brainwashed children at a young age, giving them extensive military training while forcing them to live as celibate monks? The same Yoda who endorsed the attempted arrest turned attempted assassination on the legally elected leader of the Republic simply because he had allegedly, according to a single witness, admitted to being a Sith? A quasi-religious order like the Jedi, even though the Republic has freedom of religion? The same Yoda who, when that arrest turned assassination attempt failed, attempted to assassinate the leader himself rather than presenting any evidence to others as to any alleged crimes?

That Yoda?

The one who, after fighting Palpatine essentially to a draw, decided that he should go hide in a swamp for 40 years rather than try again. Oh right, there is no try, and he already did not.

That's also the same Yoda who was in that situation because he thought it would be a good idea for him and Obi-Wan to split up to take on Palpatine and Anakin respectively. He came to that conclusion in spite of the fact that every single time the Jedi faced the Sith before, it was always with a 2-1 advantage, and they were all still close calls.

Or the same Yoda who, within minutes of meeting Luke Skywalker for the first time, steals his stuff and assaults R2-D2 with a stick.

Yeah, he's not a very good role model. And he really is nutty.
