During an interview, she should take out the lyrics to any black rapper's song (Lil' Wayne, for instance) and go "I didn't say it first and let me read this to you." She should proceed to read the lyrics which will inevitably contain "nigga" no less than 10 times. Then she can ask why we let children listen to these songs if it's obviously such a huge deal. If she is made into a criminal because she's white and they're black (so they're clearly allowed to say it), that is the definition of racism. What other difference is there? His is in song form? He's trying to send a powerful message by saying....what? "No rubber, I just fucked this piano nigga" Yeah. There's purpose.
Honestly, these double standards make me so worked up. Paula Deen is no racist just for saying nigger. Or if she is, then so is Lil' Wayne and anyone else who's ever said it at any point in their lives.
CS/CpE. Yay engineering!
