Monday SCOTUS upholds a racist institutional practice that judges some college applicants as more worthy of acceptance because of the color of their skin and not the content of their character high school transcripts and test scores. This decision by the court is not based on human decency, basic or not.

Tuesday the Justices struck down the truly important parts of the Voting Rights Act, the part that makes sure the racist Republicans of the South don't start pulling the same old bullshit to keep blacks and other non-whites out of the voting booth. This must be the part you were referring to, as Section 5 was their to make sure that Southerners had no choice but to have basic human decency (something the South has never really proven it has in the first place).

Today (Wednesday) the Court finally upholds rights and puts the smack down on discrimination. This decision really is not in any way consistent with the previous two decisions of upholding discrimination.

So yeah, I definitely do NOT think today's decision jives well at all with the previous 2 decisions. This is the only good decision they've made this week.

Death to the Regressives of the GOP and the TeaParty. No mercy for Conservatives. Burn them all at the stake for the hateful satanists they are.
