... but even as a Suns fan (which tells you why I stopped paying attention), I too was hoping for a Spurs win. They are, in a sense, the Manchester United of the NBA - a team that doesn't rely on constant drama and spectacular trades or signings, but just sticks with a long-term plan, keeps its key players, and consistently performs at top level (except maybe that time the Suns swept them four games to nil in the play-offs a few years back...).
