Fill me in. What's new in your world?
Still working at NASA as a contractor, where my job is essentially to verify that the replacement for the Space Shuttle that we're designing will fly straight. The job pays well and I really love the work, and the people I work with.
In a pretty serious relationship with a really sweet Bama girl. We used to be just dance partners, but things change... We still dance a lot, whether we're attending a dance event, or performing for charity, or just going somewhere that has nice music and a dance floor. We had a great time on a Caribbean cruise last year. Dance floors and live music everywhere.
Since I moved to Alabama I've taken up rock climbing and caving. I volunteer for a couple of local wilderness & cave rescue organizations. We train every Tuesday, do rescue standby at some wilderness events (mostly 50k trail runs), and teach wilderness rescue and cave search & rescue to other first responders - primarily firefighters. I kind of got out of shape in grad school in Atlanta, and I feel much better being more active.
That's my update. Glad to hear from you!
Glad you still enjoy your work
Any specific kind of dancing? Congrats on the lady. She must be something incredible to catch you
How is Alabama?
Miss you
