It cannot be as simple as being inside or outside the "bubble" of the heliosphere. What do we call being inside the actual "soap" of the bubble? As it reads now, future V-ger is traveling through the "soap" itself. Before it was inside the open space of the bubble. Now its going through the bubble itself. Soon it will be outside of the bubble.

In biological terms, when something is traveling through the cell membrane, it is considered "in" the cell. Much like volleyball... being on the line is considered "in".
