Some people say that Voyager is out of the solar system, but NASA has released a statement saying that while the craft may be out of the classic heliosphere, it's still in something they're calling the magnetic highway, and not interstellar space. They're waiting for a change in the direction of the magnetic field to make it official.
So essentially, a paper was published by astronomers saying that Voyager is outside of the heliosphere and thus outside of the solar system, but NASA is being a killjoy and saying that Voyager maybe isn't technically there yet because of whatever this zone beyond the heliosphere is. Maybe. I can only assume Isaac will show up and clarify for me.
