But I'll pick the local before he gets taken (though I sure hope he doesn't get elected).
1. Who the next Pope will be (full name as it appears today)
Marc Ouellet, Canadian. He's been one of the dark horses of the last two conclaves but Benedict has immediately recalled him to Rome upon his election and pushed him into a prominent Curia position. His age is no longer an issue, he spent Benedict's rule improving further his credentials in the Curia, and he might prove a compromise in case of an Italy vs. New World/Third World deadlock (having almost two decades of experience in South America, many sympathizers in Africa, friends in francophone Europe and among the Italians. He also sees eye-to-eye with many American Cardinals.). He's also long been very close to Ratzinger.
He's much hated here, his archbishopric was short and peppered with crisis, but apparently it's not quite how it's seen from Rome.
Against him: he's basically a less intellectually prominent Benedict, and another Curia man.
When he will be elected (exact day)
March 17th
3. His Papal name upon ascension.
Paul VII
