Actually the prohibitions are Old Testament and COULD be invalidated by an Ex Cathedra declaration, but I wouldn't hold my breath.Probably a good idea, since the New Testament defines marriage as between a man and a woman. There is a better chance of changing the stance on abortion than polygamy (serial or otherwise) or same-sex marriage.
