They just made it optional, like in lots of other states in the country where people earn a decent living and haven't been driven into penury, dangerous work conditions, child labor, effective slavery or Dickensian lives generally. I'd at least give your pro-union diatribe some credence if you could point to massive deleterious effects of not having unions, but after you subtract the union dues which are taken out to support mafias, the wages of union labor and non-union labor are almost completely equal. Oh sure, public unions get their workers grossly fat pensions that no one else in America ever sees, and that's exactly what's bankrupting cities and states across the country. So tell me again why I should be upset...
