i visited israel in 2002 and even at that time, there were almost as many palestinians in the occupied territories as there were jews in israel proper.

There are 6 million Jews in Israel proper, with about 500,000 more in the West Bank.

Official statistics put the Palestinian population at 2.3 million in the West Bank, but as Wikipedia points out, this number was based on extrapolating birth rates, didn't account for emigration, and so the real population is probably only 1.5 million. The population of Gaza is probably about the same.

So, let's rewrite your assertion mathematically:

3 million is about equal to 6 million.

No, it isn't.

either way, the fact remains that the palestinians will eventually surpass the jewish population if they are ever annexed into a one-state solution.
