Even in Ohio, where (in the last few year), concealed carry has reached 1 in 20 adults, most don't carry them everywhere, many of the spots it happens at don't permit it, and there are actually whole webpages devoted to crimes foiled by armed citizens, the left just sticks its fingers in its ears and pretends they don't exist or handwave them away. We don't have many spree killings, and for your argument to be anything but absurd we'd need to only count the cases where someone present was an armed citizen.

i'm not trying to be an ass, but please point me to a few of these webpages. i've seen plenty of evidence of guns preventing a *crime* but statistics suggest it is only a matter of time before a shooting spree comes to ohio, barring any change in our gun culture. if someone goes on a shooting rampage in your state and someone else with a gun stops it, you make sure to let me know and i will make sure to agree that more guns *can* make us safer in certain circumstances.


We've had shooting sprees in Ohio, and lots of serial killers who in my mind are worse and rarely effected by gun laws.
