I respect your opinion Chris but I couldn't disagree more on this one. It's also a touch surprising to me, you're not one for airing your views a lot so its hard to know your philosophies but I always took you for more libertarian than most.
I don't feel it will make much different for me to make an argument vs what you just said because we have fundamental differences in belief on this subject, obviously. I will say that my belief comes from growing up in Maine. Lots of people had guns. Crime was/is/will remain low. Few people concealed weapons. Some people had handguns but those were almost always left in ones house in a gun safe, where they serve little to no purpose. I currently live in Cincinnati, work in a pretty ghetto part of it in a drugstore, and what I see when I go into places is how much concealing a weapon won't help. But thats how I view things, how I see stuff, and I admit I could be in correct.
As to why its hard to know my philosophies, I can explain that simply. I'm what many would call inconsistent. My views change from subject to subject. But most of all, it's hard to know what I think because my views, opinions and ideas change. I recognize that I can not possibly be right about everything and as such am open to new ideas. I do try to be a bit abrasive about my thoughts at a given time when I'm online because a. it's amusing and b. I refuse to do so in person. It doesn't mean that I don't feel as I say, but sometimes I will drop my leveling logic when arguing or discussing something just because it feels good.
Your mom. That's right. The cat is out of the bag. Your mom.

Wikipedia says it is not legal in DC, and IL must write a law dealing with it.
