As a "screw you, nationalism, we are all one world" symbol, it's pretty strong really. I'm intrigued by them including Iran's flag so prominently - I guess politics really was not a consideration when making that.

Some of the overdone ones would've been awesome if it had been the Rio Carnaval (Panama comes to mind). As a representation of your country to the world, perhaps not so much. Interesting that the US went for the Latin-American style, too - and that a lot of countries delegated tanned brunettes or girls of Latin origin in sharp contrast to their, shall we say, indigenous population, like Finland and iirc Norway (which, incidentally, had a wonderful outfit if you ignore their blatant disregard for the entertainment factor of the show).
