So here's the scenerio. I'm sitting in a horribly boring meeting at work, and I happen to have my laptop computer facing away from everyone else (prime seating goes to those who are on-time for meetings). So, of course, I'm wandering around the inter-webs when I stumble upon an add for Dewar's: The Drinking Man's Scotch.
Well I read on some website how scotch is all classy and whatever, so I was all "hmmm...maybe." I then happened to see another ad for it, and it has this beautiful brunette as the spokeswoman. I'm now sold. Am I being manipulated? Yes. Do I care? No.
I then pick up a bottle of this stuff. I have a chilled glass (I likes my booze cold), and add a few ice cubes. I cue up the latest episode of Boardwalk Empire (season finale), and I settle in for a good evening. Sip....hmmm...sip.
Does all scotch have this aftertaste?
It didn't burn. It didn't smell wierd. It was smooth and the initial taste was good. However, it rested on the palate oddly. Maybe this is all scotch? I don't know. So I figure that somoene here would know....having been to a few Gatherings, my observations reflect that the odds are high of being able to gather information here.

I believe the Brunette is Claire Florlani (sp) - she's been in a few of their TV commercials.
