Sorry but that is a ludicrous argument. If legalising a fairly simple operation would save, say, ten lives a year, would you oppose it?
The problem is that for every life that it theoretically "saves" a different life is lost. Additionally, it is not really a 1:1 because not every mother would necessarily die, but every single child does.
As I have said over and over again, there is no good absolute solution on this issue, just a bunch of bad ones.
