For several years, whenever he has won anything, English commentators have referred to him as a British tennis player. When he loses, they refer to him as Scottish. Us Scots are thrawn, thrawn buggers about things like that and it winds us up the wrong way.
Interestingly, after the Olympics and US Open wins, there were, for the first time I can remember, a few pundits referring to him as Scottish despite his winning...
