that that kind of song only becomes a hit when sung in a language nobody in Belgium speaks as first language?
Fair enough.
An understandable reaction. It must be painful to have it rubbed in so hard that you're not Belgian.
A lot of people saying the former is actually contributing to the latter, contradictory as that may seem. Separatism becomes a lot less adventurous when the new state will still be part of the EU and all of the European level laws and regulations remain - and, in the case of Flanders and Catalonia, the euro too. The more the EU gains centralised powers, the less need there is for that other centralised power in Brussels, Madrid or London (unless of course the UK quits the EU, that is).
I think they probably qualify, from your list I'd say only Jersey doesn't 100% qualify as British.
Fair enough.
Yup. Still speechless on this.

No, I can't see any of them becoming fully independent, just potentially more devolved. It is interesting, if the Euro survives then the EU is likely to be gaining centralised powers at the same time as individual countries are giving it away to their regions.

So, I found this video explaining the differences between The UK, Great Britain, England, etc.

Kind of, but not precisely. It's probably the easiest way to look at it, though. *NM*
