I'm asking this in a honest way, not a snarky way. Do you think that the state will give up the sales tax increase after 4 years?
As for the three strikes law, I voted to keep my cousins in jail. Left to their own devices, out in the wild they cause more trouble them its worth. And I'm saying this as someone who loves them.

if the state is doing better financially and running surpluses again (ha!) then there will be a voter backlash on extensions to the sales tax increase. not sure it will work, but that's what i would expect to see.
