did you see jon stewart's take on the rove meltdown? moondog Send a noteboard - 08/11/2012 05:51:53 PM
The Party leaders all know that they can't say, "Well, if Christie hadn't praised Obama's response to Sandy, all those Hispanics in Florida and Nevada, and all those women in Ohio worried about access to birth control, would have voted for Romney..." It's not a credible narrative and there's no reason for the Party to shoot an A-lister just because he gave a B-list candidate some mildly bad optics in a race that Romney already had little chance of winning based on the polls.

Also, following the election, I think Karl Rove and all this "internal polling" is going to be seen for what it is - a pile of shit. Rove was arguing against mathematics on Fox News the other night and he just looked so completely out of touch with reality it was frightening.

the best part was when megyn kelly asked rove: "is this math you do as a republican to make yourself feel better?" it was quite priceless :)

Chris Christie *was* far more likely. I expect his party to eat him alive after Sandy. - 07/11/2012 09:59:17 PM 881 Views
Yes, but Christie gained the respect of a lot of moderates for that. - 07/11/2012 10:20:08 PM 721 Views
