No, not really. No one runs for the office. The party leaders get together at a--let's call it a convention--and nominate someone they think will really do a good job. It's better than having to nonimate someone because that person made themselves known to the public.

You didn't give me options before. Given those above, it's Moderate. Or it could be Other if you think fiscally conservative and socially liberal doesn't fit Moderate. Although, I suspect most self-identifying liberals would not consider my views socially liberal (enough?).




Can we also put it under "limited government," since the government could take a lot less of my money and still perform it's constitutional functions and I would pretty much meet that criterion?
