The most major event would be the death of my father. I make a specific point not to regret things in my life (we are who we are because of where we were when, etc), but I do regret not being more present when he was sick. I can't get rid of the feeling that I should have... something. Sat there with him, asked him questions about his life, read to him. I don't know. Whatever. I still deal with that, and I still have issues over the loss. Some are weird, like the fact that I cannot sing in church. Ever. If I even start trying, I choke up.
Waiting for my visa is seriously driving me crazy. Most of the time I sound like I'm joking about it (that's me), but I can feel the frustration like an actual weight, and keeping my personality flaws in check is currently roughly the same as trying to lasso a herd of cats.
Other than that, I guess I'm going to use this thread to appreciate how lacking in issues my life really seems to be. I love my people, and I naturally spend a lot more time dwelling on that than on the bad stuff.

What is/are the biggest issue(s) you've had to work out in your personal life so far?
