As far as I know, that's how it happened and those were the reasons. She felt that the continuing trouble I had with a variety of strong-tasting foods showed a general lack of dedication and a general childishness. She expected me to be able to eat whatever she cooked, and if I didn't like it she didn't want to hear about it. I tried, but I wasn't able to do it. The last argument came when I forced myself without complaint to eat something she had made (it lasted for three meals), and then she wanted to make it again the following week and I told her that I had trouble with it. The next day she left me. If there were other reasons, she didn't talk about them.
I don't want people to affect some sort of anger toward her for my sake, though, even though I'm sure she'll never read this. Despite what happened, I loved her dearly, and outside of her demanding and controlling nature when it came to food she was everything I ever wanted. If she needed someone who can eat anything, then that's a choice she can make (and did make). I don't like that she made it, and I don't like how alone it left me feeling, but she had every right to make it.
Obviously I don't know what went on between you two, but do you think she was using the food as an excuse to leave? Like, maybe she felt trapped and used some asinine excuse to leave. I'm just curious. Sometimes I like to think I'm Dr. Phil

Wow, Nate, if eating what you like were something that needed to be earned, then you earned it.
