Like I say, the primaries are long gone, so they are not pandering to far right voters: This is their case to the whole nation; if it elects them, they will act on that mandate to ban abortion nationwide, with no exceptions. Why did Romney go to a hospital angrily demanding a woman die rather than have an abortion a higher ranking church leader already approved? Because he thought it was right. Why does the House Science and Technology Committee have a guy who thinks rape cannot cause pregnancy? Because his partys majority lets them pick committee assignments.

Again, the question is no longer if they will do as they say, but whether we support it and, if not, think agreement on other issues more important. We shall see....
