It really depends on context, whether she was referring to her characters behavior, motivations, justifications, etc. If it is something like "I had to burn down that orphanage; I was getting paid 50,000 gps for it, and that is all that matters TO MY CHARACTER," that is technically an OoC comment, but clearly refers to the the character, only referencing the player in terms of why the player was bound by proper roleplaying to play their character true to its (not their) identity.
