Many new printers from canon, hp, and epson have no problems printing from tablets. The term you are looking for if you want a new print is airprint (for apple), mobile print app (for android), or e-print (hp term that is used both for apple and android.)
Printers older than a year old will have problems, and will require saving your work to a pc and printing from the pc.
You can find these compatible with tablets (and phones) printers starting off from $70 US.

As opposed to the Apple cult? Apple doesn't have anything comparable to Amazon Prime.

If they're based outside of US, that would be relevant to mention in the post.

Just get the Amazon Prime app for the iPad, then. And the Kindle app.

Actually it's important to check that their online banking is compatible with an iPad or Android
