Who cares about blown calls. Regular refs will have that happen all the time. Have you seen the game management skills by these refs? It's beyond horrible. Games are taking 3 1/2 hours as they have to confer on a simple holding call. Have you seen the ball spotting? The refs gave the Titans 27 yards for a 15 yard penalty at the end of the game. They aren't protecting players, as evidenced just by the Pats-Ravens game. How many head shattering hits happened this weekend with no penalty? Is that receiver for Oakland even alive right now? No penalty for killing somebody? The refs don't even know how to officate holding, as now every team is taking advantage of that and pretty much tackling defenders. You know what they do like calling? Pass interference. And illegal contact. On like every play. They're good at that.
So who cares about blown calls? I would settle for refs that actually know the rule book and don't take 30 minutes more to ref a game.

Only fair; you and rt made me agree with Cannoli in the Eli vs. Romo threads.

And here's a straight-up "caused one team to be able to win" situation:

That was the right call. "Union" has nothing to do with it.

why the union comments at the end of your post if it had nothing to do with your argument?

It was a sideline from the major point and not my motivation, as Dannymac insinuates.

The replay officals are not replacements. Maybe Rodgers just isn't a clutch QB *NM*

Maybe Rodgers should have played at his apparent high level of play the entire game. *NM*

maybe people should rate QB simply by which team wins the game *NM*

QBs should in part be rated on wins. I mean, that is afterall the result desired.

I agree with Cannoli, sadly. These officials are not much worse if at all.

there is a huge difference between blowing a call and not understanding the rules of the game
