They are so well compensated they work full time jobs all year; they are not coming back for less. Joel Send a noteboard - 18/09/2012 08:49:49 PM
And the rest will be some much needed new blood.

We are getting that "much needed" new blood: That is precisely the problem. Someday you will learn paying minimum wage gets you minimum wage labor; hopefully you figure it out before your next house fire/burglary. Of course, NFL refs do serve no purpose so vital, so I am content for the market to set their wage, but it is doing so, and the price is rising weekly. The owners won the '87 players strike—ON PAPER; the scabs hurt the league brand so badly the owners will never repeat that error.

Then you haven't been watching the games. - 19/09/2012 06:18:39 AM 383 Views
Agreed; even as a Denver fan I was disgusted they marked off the wrong yardage on that penalty. - 18/09/2012 05:54:07 AM 320 Views
Exactly. 10 yards for a 5 yard penalty is inexcusable - 18/09/2012 03:57:05 PM 386 Views
My favorite one was week 1 where the Seahawks got 4 timeouts. - 18/09/2012 07:33:28 PM 397 Views
