At this point I'm just letting it slide past and waiting for history to sort things out one way or the other. As the article and Tom pointed out, his rivals look at least as suspicious as he does (or more, in many cases). And as Larry pointed out (or hinted at, anyway), one suspects the lifetime bans would rain down by the dozens if certain other sports started testing half as strictly as cycling does. If one adopts the "everyone in cycling is still taking doping" line, it seems fairly logical to assume the same thing about every sport in which as much or more money can be made, and where testing is far less stringent.
