It bothers me. I'm sure I screw up others, so we're all even-Steven.
Edit- a hen that is reaching maturity is nearing the "Point of Lay". She goes into the nest box to lay. When she's done laying, she has laid the egg. Blah. So many on the chicken forum use "layed". Hah!
