Would I expect that a US athlete would be removed from the games for making derogatory comments about illegals? No I wouldn't.

Would I expect that a US athlete would be removed from the games for making derogatory comments about black people? I wouldn't be the least bit surprised.

Now, I'm not sure what to think about her punishment, but for someone in the public eye it was a stupid thing to do.
