Seriously guys, it's a cartoon. And it isn't nearly as witty as everyone seems to think. Find something else to be obsessed with.

Plus, as a collector, the focus on the cartoon has really taken a lot of fun out of what used to be an enjoyable hobby. The merchandise selection has really gone down, I hate the "grotesquely giant head look" the new ponies have over the more proportionate look of past lines, forums that were once useful places for collectors to find info about merchandise are now full of Bronies only wanting to talk about the stupid show/show off their artwork/fancharacters/fanfics...

Ugh...the fanfics...

Once, I had the displeasure of reading some fic written by a grown man about him finding baby Rainbow Dash on the street and raising her as his daughter for years until the rest of the ponies showed up to take her back to Ponyland or wherever the heck they come from. Every other person was going on about how sweet and cute it was and what a tearjerker the ending was...and all I could do was sit there with a "I just bit into a worm-filled lemon" look on my face while my ladyparts dried up and shriveled to dust.

I did, however, enjoy "Cupcakes," the infamous fanfic where Pinkie Pie tortures Rainbow Dash to death...if only for the cathartic value

I think the two fics might even have been written by the same guy



And yeah, as a fanfic-writing Ponylover who is complaining about other fanfic-writing Ponylovers, I realize I'm being quite hypocritical (and am probably just as nuts as they are), but I don't care. God, I hate them
