If this is supposed to be earth-shattering, I'm afraid I'm not rocked. Zalis Send a noteboard - 27/09/2009 07:11:24 PM
That being said, I'm not one to yell "God hates fags" or some such garbage. Sin is still sin, no matter how much certain groups celebrate (or even elevate) it. To pick homosexuality out as being worse than adultery is being short-sighted. (even if it happens to have an "ick" factor for most of us) God loves us all, and we are <all> sinners (and have our various vices). Paul talks a lot about forsaking wordly ways that have worked their way into the church, to leave those and cling to Christ. (thinking Corinthians here)

There's all manner of silliness and tragedy to be found in church history, and most of it has to do with error. (*cough* Indulgences, etc *cough*)
The sword might be grateful to the forge fire, but never fond of it.
