I could not correctly be described as Caucasian. I have no connection to the Caucasus.

I know you can't be faulted for following the usage of practically the whole USA, but the practice of calling white people "Caucasian" really annoys me. It's supposed to be more "politically correct" than simply saying "white", but the identification of white people with the Caucasus (i.e. the area of Eurasia between the Black Sea and the Caspian Sea) is based on an extremely racist theory of anthropology from the late 18th century. So it's not only factually incorrect (except when applied to people from Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, southern Russia, and the surrounding areas), it's also morally far worse than saying "white". You might as well say "non-niggers".
If you don't like "white", then "ethnic Europeans" or something like it is probably the best option.

—Nous disons en allemand : le guerre, le mort, le lune, alors que 'soleil' et 'amour' sont du sexe féminin : la soleil, la amour. La vie est neutre.
—La vie ? Neutre ? C'est très joli, et surtout très logique.
