Both artistic endeavors like this and charity ones. Not that I think such causes aren't worth donating large sums of money to! It's just that I live on student loans so having 5,000 dollars to donate to a single cause just boggles my mind!
after all, if you had $5000 you could afford to spend in one shot, why not make the most of your contribution? then again, if you have $5000 in spare change laying around, i'm sure the tax benefits are the least of your concerns....
