Bullshit. everynametaken Send a noteboard - 11/02/2012 04:29:31 AM
I mean he really thought this would fly? If he doesn't change it then those "activist" judges will because it is a blatant violation of the separation between church and state. I am no fan of religion overall and I reject the idea that Obama wants some kind of "war" against religion - that idea is just stupid rhetoric - but moves like this are just mind boggling. They reaffirm to me why I have decided I won't be voting for him again.

What is your plan B? It is not as if we can expect much better from the real Romney (to the extent there is one) than from the Democratic clone of him.

That is setting aside my incredulity at anyone being satisfied with Romney; we know less about how he would govern than we did about Obama in 2008, even though Romney has been in national politics longer. Mitt makes Obama look firm and open by comparison.

However, if both major parties nominate awful candidates, the solution is to seek, support and campaign for a better one, regardless of party, not surrender the government to whichever of those awful candidates everyone else picks. That is how we got into this mess in the first place, and the biggest obstacle to getting out of it.</quote

A no vote for President is just as valid as voting for somebody. I am tired of voting for the lesser evil and refuse to do it anymore. I would only vote for Romney if I took a look at what he wants to do and believe it beneficial to the nation. If he blows then he blows and I won't vote for him. I already know Obama blows, it is clear he doesn't know what to about the economy. He will get my vote when Hell freezes over.
But wine was the great assassin of both tradition and propriety...
