I hope Americans get busy reading up on this very soon and take the according steps like call their congressman that they won't stand for support of this.

it's a good thing the government got a warrant to listen in on every single american's conversations between the years of 2002-2007! i'd hate to think the government overstepped its powers by not actually getting a warrant to listen in on conversations of individuals who had nothing to do with any criminal activity whatsoever. it's so nice to know the system works every single time the government exercises its power

Obviously, any time government exceeds its authority that is a problem (and a violation of law.) However, if your concern is government censoring the internet in violation of the law, guess what: Whether they have a law granting them permission is irrelevant.
