Yeah, I am big enough to admit I might have made a mistake thinking he would never cut it.

The jury IS still out; his 16th pro start will be next week. But I like most of what I have seen so far; the (second) KC game was horrific, but he bounced back pretty well. He needs to get through his progressions at game speed, and except for Sunday he has not shown great field vision, but those are teachable things that should come with time and his first real off season, where Elway has already said he will be working with Tebow. Same with his risk taking; he has to learn the balance between forcing too many balls like most young QBs do and refusing to "risk" throws to guys he can see are open.
1-4, but, yeah. I just could not believe he could improve quickly enough to be a bona fide starter, figured that even with the talent and work ethic we were looking at a 2-3 year major project for which no NFL team has the time. He got a lot better a lot faster than I expected, though he did regress some in the last game or two. Like I said, he bounced back pretty well on Sunday.
It should be noted that our whole offense raised its game WELL above what it had been the rest of this season. The pass blocking, from a line I thought incapable of it, was stellar, against some of the fiercest sack machines in the game. Our second year receievers really stepped up after we lost Decker (our #1, though with all the drops and trouble getting open he has had the last few weeks, Demaryius Thomas probably supplanted him for good on Sunday.) The only guy who did NOT play much better than he has all year was McGahee, who fumbled twice (one of our scrub guards fell on the first one) and averaged 3.2 YPC (though it is always hard to run on Pitt.) However, since we never would have made the playoffs without him, he gets a pass on his first bad game of the season. The D looked very soft considering how banged up Pitts offense was, but when you average 30+ yards per reception it covers a multitude of sins.
That regardless of his throwing mechanics that much raw talent combined with that level of work ethic was worth taking a chance on. Now he has taken a 1-5 team and beat the Steelers in playoff game. I just can't remember who it was how told you that, can you?
Do you think people would like him if sexually assaulted women like Big Ben?
