It doesn't feel like I've achieved much of anything in 2011.

There was a lot of career search related activity and networking but nothing has happened. In 2011 I made one really big mistake during a phone interview that I'm still kicking myself for. I guess my biggest accomplishment was passing an actuarial exam back in February. In a couple of weeks I'll also find out if I passed the CFA exam I took in December. It's really annoying but I won't even have any excuse to celebrate if I pass because it'll mean nothing and make no real difference. If I had to choose I guess my biggest accomplishment was taking driving lessons, but even that didn't yield a concrete result in 2011.
However, I have made the decision that I've looked long enough in NY and that I willing to relocate, even to the middle of nowhere. My parents really do not support this and think that I should instead be willing to work in consulting in NY.
