As an artist it is important to consider how the generation of works is viewed.....
Letting go of expectation to outcome is supremely difficult. Numerous times the cellist I studied with would say something along the lines of, "Enjoy the performance. There's nothing you can do about it now. All the work is done in the practice room. Relax."

Lovely, to hear bluntly how expectation can kill creativity and the artist.
