I never knew the name to Death Star Commander and I must have seen the movie 50 times when I was growing up and 4 or 5 times as an adult.

Yeah I remember Jesse's character now I had just forgotten that he was the one who played it. The minigun is hard to forget. I don't know if I have watched that movie since it for came out in the 80s but I did enjoy it back then.
Still a good movie, though it was a tricky connection bridge when I realized Red Sonja was a touch of a dead end and there was no easy way to bridge from predator back to sci-fi without using Aliens vs Predator which would be tricky to phrase except as a dead give-away. The minigun is definitely memorable even if it requires a lot of willful suspension of disbelief for him to be carrying and operating that beast.
