And even then it is a toss up. If either one was nominated I would consider voting for Obama.
That is, not that you do not support Cain or Bachmann, but that you could support even a candidate you detest if s/he were the only alternative to them. I wish I were confident most Republicans felt that way, and I would not mind the thought of Obama losing to their eventual nominee nearly as much. After all, Obama has been a pretty miserable president who offers very little for any rational person to support, I just cannot help feeling all the alternatives are far worse. Regardless, that kind of statement is what I have been so long been hoping to see from the Republican grass roots: Denying bigots a platform and audience denies them power and relevance, which is in the best interest of both parties as well as the nation as a whole.
