and plastic surgeons do more than just boob jobs you know...besides im not his patient it was for work
there is seasonal hiring going on here and there and there is the occasional job out there, but not everyone out there is qualified for the few jobs available, My friend was making 130 K at Goldman she worked there for 7 years and she had been out of a job for 13 months. She has a mortgage that her brother is helping her out with cuz he has the means but not everyone has that. She has started to take on babysitting jobs for $20 an hour under the table for extra money. As a recovering alcoholic for the last ten years can she take on a job at the alehouse thats hiring? or can she be a sales person at the couture handbag boutique in Manhattans that hiring? nope, becuase she ahs no experience in fashion or sales and she should probably stay away from alcohol. My friend offered her a job at $40 and hour promoting Jagermeister in skimpy outfits around the state but thats not exactly something a 36 year old professional should be doing especially if she is a recovering alcoholic. besides most of these jobs pay less than unemployment benefits which will run out soon. My plastic surgeon had to let go a couple nurses and medical assistants cuz the economy is down, its not easy finding jobs that pay what you need to survive and (some of those people had been working with the doctor for 13 years. So really what kinds of jobs? and where?
At least once a week, I see a "now hiring" sign some where. Unless they're just lying and setting up a backlog of applications, people can be taking those jobs.
