Back when I was first harping on it. He said that he was considering what to do about it. Personally I'd just like to see it bumped beneath the Quote of the Moment and then let alone. If it were turned into an option you could disable with a premium account that would be fine too. But I do think there's a value to it; I just don't think it should be so prominent when it only changes maybe once per day. Put it beneath the Quote, people can check it once per day and then it's more out of the way.
...that is a non-answer that invites feedback FWIW I think moving it shouldn't have any effect at all on its ability to drive traffic to the site; furthermore, I think the ability to disable it is another perk that might make someone decide to purchase a premie. I also find it annoying, but I'm clearly not its intended audience since I'm a) not on Twitter and b) already here. So I mostly ignore it.

I love you guys, but I'm phenomenally uninterested in the status of your bartabs.

Sanderson tweeting about being nearly done with being nearly done with WoT was good.

Not really. But the self-absorbed vapidity of some really aggravates me. *NM*

Web 2.0 is a vapid scam, and Twitter's existence is contrary to a discussion forum. *NM*

I'm just not interested in every detail of your lives. NSSP tags and Journals exist for a reason.

You're not getting every little detail of our lives. You're getting little GATHERING reports.
