Your statements on the English Civil War are, as Larry said, execrable. You really should read a decent book on the subject. Veronica Wedgwood's series The King's Peace, The King's War and The Trial of Charles I are a good place to start. Antonia Fraser's biography of Cromwell is also a recommended read.
