its is interesting tho, that there could be that many life bearing worlds. as for the lack of spaceship laser battles perhaps every life bearing planet is functionally identical, save animals and things, with the sapient life forms on them at around same technological level as us. if the G-level stars and resulting planets all formed at the same time, there shouldn't be that huge a difference.
course our system might have aged slower or faster than whatever the 'norm' is, so nightly spaceship laser battles could be heading our way or we are the ones who will kick it all off.
all sorts of amazing possibilities await!
