How much support/resistance will there be from local officials, religious authorities, and male family members?



Just consider: would you really make all the women in your household not vote when they're going to vote for the same guy you're voting for? It's local politics, odds are the household's interests are aligned.


The main one being whether the promise will be honored once the unrest and unease generated by the Arab Spring settle down. The other one is whether the men in the family simply "decide" for the women who and what they'll vote for come election time.
