But I don't want to be a troll, so there must be a subject, interesting preferably, inside this post...

Mmmmh I'm thinking about babies at the moment, so a few questions (*changes the topic from misc to survey*)

Just do not take it too seriously and if you want to participate but have no kids, just use your imagination ;)

1) If you could choose which month your baby would come to the world, would you have a preference? If you're a woman, do you consider seasons and pregnancy stages?

I know my wife wanted to get pregnant in the summer so that she would be biggest in the winter. Living in Texas it makes since to try and not be nine months pregnant in July. Of course my mom survived it since I was born in San Antonio in July.

2) If you could choose, what would be the ideal time interval between consecutive siblings?

Not sure. The first two were 15 months and that was to short. The next was 16 years and that was to long.

3) If you could choose, would you chosse to have twins or triplets or a single baby?

Twins are cute but I think one baby at a time is enough.

4) Do you like buying baby clothes? And toys?

Yes. I love buying my daughter cute little dresses and shoes. If she is a good mood and not fighting us shopping with her is fun. A new shirt to her is as good as a new toy.

5) Have you really noticed pregant women having a weird, really weird, behaviour (behavior for Joel)?

no

6) Do you think children are totally overrated? :P

The opposite in fact. I see a lot of people complaining because they have to interact with children. Get over it if you can't enjoy children then the fault is with you not the kids.

That being said some people have kids to try and fill holes in their life that kids really can't fill. Kids are not puppies to keep you company and they are not fashion accessories.

7) What are your prime considerations in the choosing of a school?

Well me daughter is in preschool now so I will go with that. First we had to be comfortable with the people running it. I can't leave my child with someone I don't feel comfortable with. It had to be clean of course and I wanted the classes small. Some schools put two teachers in class and have really large classes but that just doubles your odds of having a biter and spreading bugs.

All the schools use basically the same curriculum so I didn't sweat that. Toys and playground needed to be in good shape and it had to be something we could afford. We also wanted local ownership and not some huge corporate chain.

8) Already in kindergarten?

9) Have you considered what would happen to your children if you passed away, if so have you taken some legal steps?

Of course and not enough. My sons are old enough to take my daughter if something happened and they would be first choice, once they finish school. We have made our intentions known but have not had the papers drawn up. Yes I am a bad parent.

10) How was your day today? :P

well since you posted this yesterday I will go with that. My daughter was sick so I stayed home with her. Nice to spend the day with her but we just watched TV.

Thank you in advance for your understanding and patience with my lightheadedness :P
