And I don't think the fact there are and always will be laws that are unfair means we shouldn't complain about the laws that are unfair. Call me crazy.
I don't disagree with you there, but I pointed it out because as far as "justice" is concerned I don't think most people would insist that consenting adults be arrested for incest. I could be wrong, but I find it more likely we'd just be grossed out. It seemed less about justice/punishment in this case than about accidental committing of the crime/protecting people from that.
I simply think that while discussing the info the article presented (which, admittedly, you say you weren't focused on), the other posters weren't necessarily suggesting that we be unjust. The way I see it, this law has actual reasons for being in place, and I do think most would want to know that they aren't violating it - not to avoid punishment, but because of what the act itself means (physically and mentally).
