but there are laws against incest for a reason. and most people that do have a genetic defect they know of wouldnt want it passed down to their children. So when one sperm donor has 150 kids (most likely int he same geographical area) it would be nice to track them so they don't end up having kids with each other. Im sure any kid that knows he is a "test tube baby" would like to be able to avoid sleeping with his half sister somewhere down the road.
